Agrarian Studies Training, Harare Zimbabwe, 23rd October – 17th November 2017

The Agrarian Studies Training Institute will bring together young scholars from Africa, Latin America and Asia to offer a four week, intensive interdisciplinary course in agrarian studies with faculty members from universities in Africa, Asia and Latin America/Caribbean and will be preceded by a week-long academic workshop titled: “Sustainable Development Goals and Agrarian Transformations in the Global South: Trends and Opportunities” which will be co-organized by The Sam Moyo African Institute for Agrarian Studies (SMAIAS) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). In this training Land Rights Research and Resources Institute is represented by Cathbert Tomitho Senior Programme Officer Knowledge Generation and Dissemination Unit, who holds Masters Degree on Public Policy Analysis from the Ardhi University. The training will be held in Harare, Zimbabwe from the 23rd of October to the 17th of November 2017.
